Sustainable Development Research Centre (SDRC) is a more than profit research body that develops academic and commercial partnerships to monitor and measure environmental management and sustainable development in businesses and communities. SDRC is an associate Institute of the University Highlands & Islands Millennium Institute.
The vision of the SDRC is to establish itself as an internationally renowned research centre exploring the concepts of sustainable development, corporate social responsibility and social enterprise development. Through the creation of strategic academic and business partnerships, the SDRC seeks to achieve the following key objectives:

To demonstrate through research and practical projects, that caring for the environment is good for business and organizational efficiency, in the short term as well as the long term. |

To advise and support individuals, communities, businesses and other organizations to create a more sustainable culture that encourages the evolution and widespread adoption of thinking and practices that are economically competitive, environmentally sound and socially responsible. |
